Personal History Born in the mid-2230's on the Moon, specifically Earth's moon. He was merely the youngest of five dull children. As such, he got their hand-me-downs of everything. An unfortunate fact he was sorely none too pleased about. It also meant he wasn't really noticed that much. Which sort of work to his personal advantage. Being the youngest, nothing was really expected of him. So he spent his days as carefree as possible. For example, you could see the 5-year-old boy at the shallow terraformed beach most days, when he wasn't at school. In fact, all through growing up, the beach was sort of his spot that was his play life.

His school life was decidedly different. He wasn't what you call a genius, but he had a low A, high B, thing going. Starting around middle school, guidance counselors desperately try to steer him into a career path, but he just couldn't decide.

His indecisiveness lasted up to high school. That was, until, on a foolish whim, he signed up for a class trip to Earth. One of the emotional highlights of that unusual trip was Union Headquarters. It was like a switch went off in his disordered mind.

He buckled down and by some miracle he got into Union Point, where on a whim he decided to be a scientist. A geologist at that.

After Union Point, he bounced from one post to another, no one needed a geologist, starting with the USS Stryker ending with his reassignment to Union Mining Station 42, not by choice.

During his tenure on the Stryker he was often bored. This was understandable, since space assignments rarely have any interest for a geologist. So, he spent all his time in the simulator, "getting his rock on", as he called it. This activity led to him neglecting the space science and his duties. After several warnings and wanting Chris out of his hair, the Captain transferred him where he could get all the rocks he wanted.
